Vital last game of the season that we had to take 5 points from to avoid finishing bottom of the league and we did it !!!  Sir Geoff came to the rescue when we were a man short to gain a point for the team (and he made sure he told everyone about it on Tuesday night!! - Ed) and with wins from the usual suspects we finished above our opponents.  We finished the season on 69 points a huge improvement on the 41 points we ended last season on. Paul Miller has won the most games for the team this season ( 10 ) but Ray is the most improved player with 6 wins this season.  We won a total of 4 games so we can be confident of moving up the table next season.  Well done everyone. (NB Final Averages for Maghull League now on website - Ed)

A brilliant team performance against a strong away team.  Claire battled well to achieve a reasonable score but the star of the show was Bert who fought from 20-15 down to eventually win the game.  Good all round performance from everyone – you could see the improvement from last seasons games.
