Vital last game of the season that we had to take
5 points from to avoid finishing bottom of the league and we did it !!!
Sir Geoff came to the rescue when we were a man short to gain a point
for the team (and he made sure he told everyone about it on Tuesday night!! -
Ed) and with wins from the usual suspects we finished above our opponents.
We finished the season on 69 points a huge improvement on the 41 points
we ended last season on. Paul Miller has won the most games for the team this
season ( 10 ) but Ray is the most improved player with 6 wins this season.
We won a total of 4 games so we can be confident of moving up the table
next season. Well done everyone. (NB
Final Averages for Maghull League now on website - Ed)

A brilliant team performance against a strong away team.
Claire battled well to achieve a reasonable score but the star of the
show was Bert who fought from 20-15 down to eventually win the game.
Good all round performance from everyone – you could see the
improvement from last seasons games.

Brilliant performance by Ray who took his third kitty win of the season
and a fine effort by everyone ( I have never seen long tapes out so much!!!)

that, a very enjoyable summer evening.

There were a number of cry offs due to the Bank Holiday

only 7 winners but also took the aggregate with only 9 players. Lets hope
it’s the first of many wins this season.

First game of the season and while the Windy bowlers were
trying to remember how the game was played, St Gregs stormed away from us.
(they must have practiced more than us!!!!)
Brilliant
win for Bert to pick up our only point and the least said about Mr Makin who
was 10 – 0 up the better!!
