The top of the table Rebels stormed away with the points but there were some creditable performances from the Millers.  The Gillmeister took his first kitty in this league, with Ritchie and Jack being the other winners.  However, Fred, Luuv and the Killer all came close.  With the green looking a bit better perhaps things are looking up a bit?

Despite the seemingly crushing defeat there were some very good performances amongst the Millers team.  The kitty was shared for the first time this season between Horatio and Luuv Makin.  Ominously though we have now slipped into the relegation places and with the Rebels visiting next week.......

For the second time in a row we had 5 winners and just missed out on the aggregate.  Sir Geoff once more knighted himself with the kitty, but it was the Millers sails who came off, only scoring 7 points.

Fred Marsh certainly didn't get bogged down as he took the kitty on his first match of the season.  With only Ritchie and the Gillmeister getting the other wins, all of which were close, this was a difficult match for everyone.  Despite only getting 6 points this was a brave first performance also for Stu.

Despite only four winners a narrow win on aggregate, largely due the Predators demolition of his opponent...yet another minnow swallowed up by the Pike to take him joint top of the kitty table!  Good also to see Peter 'Experience Bowler' Mercer back in harness after his eye trouble - blurry vision seem to have assisted his performance after a good win on his home debut!

A solid away performance by the Millers.  Luuv Makin was at it like a rabbit digging a right hole for D. Burrows.  Wins also for the Gillmeister, the Sargeant and Gypsy Rose Traverse....the sight of the caravan in the car park making him feel right at home!!

A first win for the Millers, with the Legion getting lost on the sandhills of the Windmill green - it was certainly a foreign experience for them.  Homer picked up another kitty with a great win to 3.  Chants of "stayin-up, stayin-up, stayin-up" were heard at one stage, although our egg-chasing Captain does not share some of the younger members of the teams' confidence.

A bit of a massacre on a bumpy Skem Park green (but then we should be used to that!). It was Smiler that strode forth to claim the kitty, beating a much younger opponent....luck of the draw?

It seemed as though a few hares and hounds (followed by a few horses) have rampaged across the Millers green.  However, we put in a reasonable performance against a strong team.  All eyes were glued upon Ken's game.  The 'Predator'  finally caught his quarry - a veritable whale of a win against one of the top players - Frank McNamara.  And to top it all he took the kitty as well.  Take a bow Mr. Pike.
